Sports Performance is our group exercise class at Nashville MMA Training Camp , and it runs at 6:00 AM Monday through Friday. Five mornings a week, one class, before work. That is the group exercise class on our schedule right now and we put everything into it.
This is strength training and conditioning built around real weightlifting, not a circuit of machines. You will squat, you will deadlift, you will press, you will pull a sled, and you will leave before 7:00 AM.

Every Sports Performance class follows the same shape:
Coaches run the whole hour. They will set your weights, fix your form and tell you when to add plates and when to back off. That is the difference between a group exercise class and a gym membership where you guess.
We build this class on weightlifting because nothing else does as much. Weightlifting is what adds lean muscle, protects your joints, keeps your bone density up as you get older and raises your metabolism for the rest of the day. Cardio is good for you. Weightlifting changes what your body is made of.
Our weightlifting programming moves in cycles rather than random workouts. You repeat the main lifts often enough to get better at them, with the weight climbing week to week. That is how strength training is supposed to work, and it is the part most group exercise classes skip.
Everybody. You do not have to be a fighter and you do not have to train martial arts at all. We have members who only come to the 6:00 AM group exercise class and never step on the mats!
New to weightlifting? Say so on your first morning. The coach will scale every movement and start you where you actually are.
Our facility is 40,000 square feet. The gym side of it is a full weight room that most martial arts gyms simply do not have, and it is bigger and better equipped than plenty of standalone gyms in Nashville.
Here is what is on the floor:
The sleds and the turf are the part you do not get at a normal gym. Most commercial gyms in Nashville have rows of machines and nowhere to actually move. We have two turf lanes, so you can sled push, carry, sprint and drag without waiting for anybody or apologising for taking up space. That is why our conditioning finishers look nothing like a regular gym's.
You also get the Recovery Room with an adult membership: dry heat sauna, cold tub, Normatec compression boots and a mobility area. Train hard in the morning, sit in the sauna, go to work.
The Full Nashville MMA Membership includes the gym side. If you are already a member for jiu jitsu, boxing, muay thai, wrestling or MMA, the weight room, both turf areas, the sleds and the 6:00 AM Sports Performance group exercise class are already yours. You are not paying twice and you do not need an add-on. Use it!
Just want the gym? We have a separate Gym Side Membership for people who only want strength training, weightlifting and open gym access, with no martial arts classes. Come lift, use the turf and the sleds, hit the Recovery Room, and that is it. Ask at the front desk or use the form below and we will walk you through the pricing.
Either way you can upgrade later. Plenty of people join for the weights, watch a jiu jitsu class from the weight room and end up on the mats within a month!
The fastest way to judge a gym is to stand in it. Come by, walk the floor, look at the turf and the racks, and try the 6:00 AM group exercise class for free. Fill out the form below and we will get straight back to you.
