Nashville MMA Training Camp offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Gi and No-Gi, Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling, mixed martial arts, fitness and sports performance training, personal training, women-only martial arts classes, and self-defense training. For kids, our current schedule includes Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kids Fitness. Check the program pages and live schedule for the most current class options.

Arrive about 15 minutes before your first class so our team can check you in, show you around the gym, and introduce you to your coach. You will need to complete a liability waiver before training, and anyone under 18 needs a legal guardian to sign. Most classes are about an hour and are structured so beginners can learn alongside other members at an appropriate pace.

Yes. We offer Fundamentals classes specifically designed for beginners, along with Intermediate, Advanced, and All Levels options as students progress. You do not need previous martial arts experience to start training at Nashville MMA Training Camp.

No. Many members start with no previous martial arts experience. Our Fundamentals classes teach the basic positions, movements, terminology, and training habits you need before moving into more advanced classes.

No. You can start at your current fitness level and build conditioning as you train. Coaches can help you learn the movements safely, and consistent martial arts or fitness training will gradually improve your strength, endurance, mobility, and coordination.

Wear clean athletic clothing without pockets, buttons, zippers, or exposed hardware. Shoes are not worn on the martial arts mats, so slip-on shoes are convenient for moving on and off the training area. Gi classes require a Gi and belt, while striking and MMA classes use discipline-specific protective gear as you progress.

Trial students can use rental gear at no charge. New members can also use gym gear during the first two weeks while they determine what equipment they want to purchase. After that, members are expected to have their own required gear, and rental equipment is available for $5 per class if needed.

Yes. Nashville MMA Training Camp offers a free trial class so you can see the facility, meet a coach, and experience the training environment before choosing a membership. Contact the front desk or use the website's trial form to schedule your visit.

Membership options are based on how often you plan to train and which programs fit your goals. The front desk can walk you through the current choices and help you select the best fit. Adult memberships currently include access to the recovery room.

Nashville MMA Training Camp memberships are month-to-month and currently require 28 days' notice for cancellation. Membership holds, cancellations, upgrades, and downgrades should be submitted through the gym's membership changes page so the request can be documented and processed correctly. *Sales and special offers may differ.

Yes. Nashville MMA Training Camp currently offers military, first responder, family, and student discounts. Only one discount can be applied per account, and identification may be required at the front desk.

Nashville MMA Training Camp has coaches who specialize in BJJ, striking, MMA, wrestling, kids programs, and fitness. The current coaching staff includes Dustin Ortiz as Fight Team Head Coach, Ronnie Lawrence as a Striking Coach, Bryan Tidwell as Head BJJ Coach, and Shawn Allen as Head Kids Coach and BJJ Fundamentals Coach, along with additional specialist coaches. Yes. Personal training is available for both fitness goals and martial arts skill development. Pricing, specialties, and availability vary by coach, so the best option is to review the Personal Training page or speak directly with the front desk or the coach you want to work with.

Nashville MMA Training Camp has a 40,000+ square foot facility with more than 13,000 square feet of mat space and more than 10,000 square feet of fitness areas. Members have access to free weights, power racks, cable machines, turf, cardio equipment, rowing and ski machines, bikes, and other strength and conditioning equipment, plus dedicated martial arts training areas.

Nashville MMA Training Camp offers 80+ classes per week with options in the early morning, daytime, evening, and on weekends. Because class times can change, always use the live Schedule page for the most current BJJ, Muay Thai, boxing, MMA, wrestling, fitness, women's, and kids class times.

No one is thrown into hard sparring on day one. Fundamental striking classes do not include sparring, while more advanced striking classes can include controlled sparring and live drills. Grappling classes may include live rolling, and all sparring or live training must follow coach supervision and gym safety rules.

Yes. The facility has men's and women's showers as well as family dressing rooms. Bring your own towel and shower products.

Yes. Nashville MMA Training Camp has a private parking lot at the facility. Evening traffic can be busy, so members and visitors should drive slowly and watch for children entering and leaving the building.

Current gym hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Class times vary within those hours, so check the live Schedule page before coming in for a specific class.

Yes. Cross-training is one of the biggest advantages of training at a full MMA facility. Many members combine BJJ, Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling, MMA, or fitness training, depending on their goals and membership option. Ask the front desk which membership best matches how often and what you want to train.
